Yayoi Teramoto, PhD

Yayoi was born and raised in Mexico City. In 2019, she finished her PhD in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Oxford. She is currently taking a little break to rediscover all of life’s almost-forgotten little pleasures.

In her guest contributions to “Eternal Sunshine of the PhD Mind”, the blog that kept her afloat during the last months of her PhD, Yayoi reflects on some fears she faced during her PhD journey. She hopes her words will help others along the way.
